The incident, which took place August 5th in Miami, was investigated by the NBA along with domestic violence experts and issued the suspension based on all facts and circumstances accumulated from the investigation.
Reed, who hasn't played any significant minutes for his new team so far due to coach Stan Van Gundy opting to split center minutes between Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin, will start his suspension tomorrow when the Pistons play the Brooklyn Nets. Reed will be eligible to return February 25th against the Charlotte Hornets.
