Stan Van Gundy: Extension for Reggie Bullock "Possible"

The Pistons have had a busy offseason, like most NBA teams have, but their offseason doesn't seem to be over yet.

Pistons' head coach, Stan Van Gundy, wants to not only re-sign Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who is set to become a restricted free agent in the 2017 free agency period if a deal is not reached, but is also entertaining the idea of re-signing sharpshooter Reggie Bullock.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Stan Van Gundy says an extension with Reggie Bullock is possible:

No talks have begun, but Pistons president/coach Stan Van Gundy told the Free Press last week an extension is possible for Bullock, who was acquired in July 2015.

Like Caldwell-Pope, Bullock becomes a free agent in the 2017 offseason if he does not reach a contract extension with the Pistons.

Bullock averaged six points in 11 minutes last season for the Pistons in the NBA Playoffs.

He shot 41.5% from the three-point line throughout the season.

Stan Van Gundy attempting to re-sign Bullock means he believes he can be part of Detroit's bench core as the team looks to enter NBA title contention talks within the next few seasons.

Bullock is 25 years old.
