According to McMann, Harris broke his nose in last night's win over the Bucks. Baynes broke his at practice today.
The Pistons are going into the season banged up. Reggie Jackson will not be available until likely December, as he recovers from knee tendonitis. Forward Marcus Morris has been battling knee tendonitis himself, and has missed the last three games of the preseason. Stanley Johnson sat out last game with a foot injury, but the injury is not of major concern. Baynes missed Detroit's game against Philadelphia with a back issue, but did return last night against Milwaukee. Andre Drummond also missed a game in the preseason with an illness.
Baynes and Harris should not miss time due to the injury, but it may hinder their game. Nonetheless, it is concerning that Detroit has been banged up all preseason, and will head into the season with several injuries.
Detroit's first game of the regular season is on October 26th vs the Toronto Raptors.
