REPORT: Rockets, Nuggets Interested in Markieff Morris

As we near the NBA's trade deadline on Thursday, rumors surrounding Detroit's movable veterans are heating up. With the league-wide interest for Derrick Rose already known, the Pistons have continued to gauge what they can get from a shooting-starved team for their veteran offense threats in Langston Galloway - and in this case - Markieff Morris.

Morris is knocking down a career-high 39.3 percent of his three-pointers this season as he has been able to more easily find his offensive groove off the bench. That level of efficiency from deep will peak any contender's interest, and Morris' case is no different. The Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets, two teams who are among the league's most prolific three-point shooting teams, have shown interest in Morris, according to Kevin O'Connor on the latest Ringer NBA Show (30:30).

The return for an expiring veteran like Morris is likely a second-round pick, an obvious opportunity for Detroit to cash in on a cheap free agent signing from the summer.
