Jackson will sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, Wojnarowski says. Paul George, one of Jackson's good friends, plays for the Clippers, as does his former teammate Marcus Morris.
The Pistons traded for Jackson at the trade deadline during the 2014-2015 season. He then signed a contract extension in July of 2015, and took the reigns of the franchise from Brandon Jennings. He appeared in 299 games with the Pistons over six seasons.

This year, Jackson has appeared in only 14 games for the Pistons due to a back injury that kept him out since the third game of the season. He averaged 14.9 points and 5.1 assists in those appearances.
The Los Angeles Lakers were also interested in Jackson, Wojnarowski reports.

The Pistons point guard rotation will now consist of Derrick Rose, Bruce Brown, Brandon Knight, and Jordan Bone. The team could also draft a point guard in June, in a draft class filled with lead guards.
