After it was reported earlier today that the Detroit Pistons would be interviewing Kenny Smith for their vacant head coach position, Adrian Wojnarowski has reported another name Detroit will meet with for the spot.

Juwan Howard has been with the Miami Heat as an assistant coach in 2013, his only stop post-playing career. His promotion to a head coaching spot seems imminent, as he has interviewed with others teams in the past. For example, Howard met with the New York Knicks for their vacancy, before it was filled by David Fizdale.
Howard played college ball at Michigan before spending 19 seasons in the NBA.
