REPORT: Pistons Trade for Joe Harris
As free agency approaches, the Detroit Pistons have made what appears to be the first of a fleury of moves. Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnorowski, the Brooklyn Nets have traded Joe Harris and two second-round picks to the Pistons.
Harris adds much needed shooting to the Pistons roster, who finished the 2022-23 season with the eighth worst three-point shooting percentage in the NBA. Harris, a career 43.7 percent marksman from downtown, comes to Detroit with one year left on his contract worth $19.9 million.
James Edwards III of The Athletic reports that this will leave Detroit with around $7 million in cap space. However, he believes that Detroit is not done making deals.
