Haynes also reports that Detroit is looking to make another roster move, assumedly a trade, to make room for Wood on the roster.
Two trade candidates are Khyri Thomas and Langston Galloway.

Or they could waive Joe Johnson.
The Pistons will have to make a final decision and/or move on Monday, as Monday is the deadline for rosters to be trimmed to the regulated 15-man maximum.
Wood flashed his skillset on both sides of the floor over five preseason games. He averaged 13.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, and one assist in just 17 minutes per game. He shot 55% from the field and 40% from the 3-point line.
Wood, recently turned 24, can play bother power forward and center. He was picked up by Detroit in July on a non-guaranteed contract.
