Report: Pistons Testing Trade Market on Aron Baynes, Boban Marjanovic
The Detroit Pistons are exploring the trade market on backup big men Aron Baynes and Boban Marjanovic, according to Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders. Both are centers who come off the bench behind Andre Drummond.
The NBA Trade Deadline is at 3:00 PM EST on February 23rd.
Baynes has been the backup center this season for Detroit. He currently holds a player option for next season, which Basketball Insiders reports he will decline. Baynes is averaging 4.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
Marjanovic signed a three-year deal with Detroit in the offseason. He has played in 20 games this season with the Pistons and is averaging 4.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. Marjanovic is owed $21 million over the next three seasons.
Neither Baynes or Marjanovic played in Detroit's last game on Monday. They lost to the Boston Celtics 113-109 in that game.
