Last year at Old Dominion, Freeman averaged 22.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and three assists per game. He only averaged 1,3 turnovers per game in 35.1 minutes per game last year. He went undrafted in the NBA Draft.
Freeman played with the Houston Rockets in the Las Vegas Summer League this summer.
Freeman will battle it out with Lorenzo Brown and Ray McCaullum Jr for the third string point guard spot in training camp.
