REPORT: Pistons sign Kevin Knox To Two-Year Deal
Per The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Detroit Pistons have signed Kevin Knox to a two-year, $6 million contract.
The former ninth pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, has yet to find his footing in his four NBA seasons, averaging 7.7 points and 2.9 assists on 37/34/70 shooting splits in 212 games after averaging 15.6 points on 45/34/77 shooting in his one year at the University of Kentucky.
Knox will be 23 by the start of the season, making him a low-risk high reward signing, similar to that of Josh Jackson two offseasons ago. At 6'7" 215 pounds, Knox has potential to bring shooting and length off the bench. Knox is the second signee of the Free Agency period for Detroit, as fellow 2018 draftee Marvin Bagley III resigned earlier this evening.
