Both Detroit and Cleveland worked out McQuaid earlier this month according to Ansar Khan of mlive.com. The expectation was that he would not be drafted but be given an opportunity in the Summer League. The Pistons are that team to give McQuaid a chance.
McQuaid will most likely play on the Pistons Summer League team and then have an opportunity to stick with the organization via the G League Grand Rapids Drive. As a four-year senior, McQuaid shot a blazing 42% from behind the arc and averaged 9.8 points per game in his final NCAA season.
