With the Pistons rescinding the trade, Bol Bol will return to the Nuggets, and Detroit will take back Rodney McGruder and the Brooklyn Nets 2022 second-round pick, which was originally involved in the deal.
Bol Bol's one season at Oregon was ended early due to suffering an injury that required foot surgery but has not had any serious injuries since that has become public knowledge.
The Pistons and Nuggets agreed to this trade back on Sunday and Bol Bol arrived in Detroit on Wednesday. The expectation was that he would suit up for the Pistons on Friday in their game against the Toronto Raptors.
