REPORT: Pistons Plan to Sign Derrick Walton Jr. to 10 Day Contract
Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that the Pistons are planning to give former University of Michigan guard, Derrick Walton Jr. a ten day contract.
This news comes after reports indicated the Pistons would seek 10 day contracts to fill their open roster spot following the buyout of Reggie Jackson's contract. If Walton performs well, he could be a permanent fixture on this Pistons roster for the remainder of the season.
Walton, a Michigan native and University of Michigan alumni, had his jersey retired at Chandler Park Academy on February 19th.
