Report: Pistons Not "Giving Away" Reggie Jackson, Deal with Magic "Unlikely"

Last Friday Marc Stein of ESPN reported that the Pistons and Magic had entered trade discussions involving point guard Reggie Jackson.

Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today Sports reports that a potential Pistons-Magic deal involving Jackson is unlikely.

The reported deal from the past week included Jackson from Detroit, along with DJ Augustin and Jeff Green from the Magic.

Jackson has been a name included in trade talks since returning from injury. Along with the Magic, the Wolves and Pelicans have reportedly shown interest in Jackson.

Jackson is averaging 15.2 points and 5.6 assists per game this season.

The NBA Trade Deadline is Thursday, February 23rd at 3 PM EST.
