Report: Pistons Interested in Rodney Hood, "Dangled" Stanley Johnson in Trade Talks
The Detroit Pistons are interested in Utah Jazz swingman Rodney Hood, according to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer.
O'Connor also reports that Detroit has dangled Stanley Johnson in trade talks, including talks with the Jazz for Hood.
The Pistons have been aggressive in the trade market according to multiple reports, including Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN and now O'Connor of The Ringer.
Hood, 25, is averaging 16.7 points on 38.6 percent shooting from the 3-point line. He has spent a chunk of the season injured and has only started in 12 games for the Jazz.
Johnson has recently played better for the Pistons, as Detroit struggles mightily. In yesterday's loss to the Cavaliers, Johnson had 14 points, four rebounds, and three assists. He is just 21 years old.
An earlier report from today, the Pistons have made their starting shooting guard, Avery Bradley, available in the trade market.
