According to Vincent Ellis of the Detroit Free Press, the Detroit Pistons are interested in acquiring Frank Ntilikina, a young guard from the New York Knicks.

Ntilikina, 21, is going into his third season in the league. He was drafted 8th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Knicks. At 6'6", he can play either guard spot or even slide up to small forward if necessary.
Last season he averaged 5.7 points and 2.8 assists per game. He is a capable defender but is raw offensively, and has shot just 30.5% from the 3-point through the first two seasons of his career.
The Pistons currently have a full roster, so there isn't room to just absorb Ntilikina onto the team. They'd have to send a player back and then still would have to cut a player. Christian Wood and Joe Johnson are two players on the fringe of making the team.
