The Detroit Pistons have brought back veteran combo guard Cory Joseph on a two-year deal with the second year being a player option, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports:
Joseph, who was waived on Sunday by Detroit, has re-signed with the Pistons on a much more modest deal. The revamped contract will save the Pistons roughly $5 million as Detroit now has their veteran point guard to help mentor Killian Hayes, Cade Cunningham and Saben Lee.
The 29-year-old was excellent in his first 19 games with the Pistons, averaging 12 points and 5.5 assists on over 50 percent shooting.
