REPORT: Pistons' Assistant GM Malik Rose Leaving Organization for NBA
According to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, Pistons' assistant general manager Malik Rose is leaving Detroit, and taking a job within the association.
Rose, who was hired by the Pistons in June of 2018, spent two seasons in Detroit. Under senior advisor Ed Stefanski, he helped the Pistons shuffle their roster and take steps towards a rebuild, including drafting Sekou Doumbouya and moving on from Reggie Jackson and Andre Drummond.
It is unclear what position Rose will take with the NBA, after serving front office roles for the Pistons and Atlanta Hawks.
