The Detroit Pistons have reportedly agreed to a three-year, $60 million deal with forward Jerami Grant, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic:
Detroit's signing of Grant comes as a surprise, to say the least, and it is a sign that more moves are coming from Troy Weaver. Grant, 26, has blossomed over his last two seasons between Oklahoma City and Denver, becoming one of the most versatile defenders in the NBA. This contract takes Grant through the prime years of his career, where he should be a key piece of the Pistons' frontcourt and serve as the replacement to Christian Wood.
The second Denver Nugget added today, Grant averaged 12.0 points and 3.5 rebounds in 71 games and was a key contributor to Denver's run to the Western Conference Finals.
