REPORT: Pistons Agree to Free Agent Deal with Trey Lyles
According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the Detroit Pistons are nearing an agreement with Trey Lyles on a two-year, $5 million deal.
Lyles, 25, spent the past two seasons with the San Antonio Spurs. Last season, he averaged 5.0 points and 3.7 rebounds in 15.6 minutes per game.
He was the 12th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
This is the third singing made by GM Troy Weaver and the Pistons on the opening night of free agency. They started the evening early, signing big man Kelly Olynyk, and brought back Cory Joseph after waiving him on Saturday.
Entering his seventh season, this will be Lyles fourth team.
