Report: Pelicans have Mulled Offering Pistons Trade for Reggie Jackson

The New Orleans Pelicans have internally mulled the idea of offering the Pistons a trade package for point guard Reggie Jackson.

The Pelicans have been a hot topic in trade talks today, as reports have surfaced that they are close to dealing for Sixers center Jahlil Okafor.

Jackson has found himself amid trade rumors since returning from injury earlier in the season. ESPN reported in January that Detroit and Minnesota had talks over swapping Jackson for Ricky Rubio. Stan Van Gundy later said he would not trade Jackson.

Jackson has caught much recent criticism over the last few weeks as he has hit a bit of a slump.
