It was announced earlier today that Pistons rookie point guard Killian Hayes could miss the rest of the season after suffering a labral tear in his hip against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. However, if Hayes opts to not undergo surgery, he could only miss 4-6 weeks, according to Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports.
While it would be nice to see Hayes back on the court at some point during this rebuilding year, the Pistons may opt to play it safe with their newest lottery pick and decide that season-ending surgery is the best course of action.
