DePaula reports that Hayes will be featured in PUMA France campaigns. He is the highest-drafted French native in the league. He joins the ranks of LaMelo Ball, Michael Porter Jr, fellow Piston Isaiah Stewart, and DeAndre Ayton as PUMA athletes.
Hayes was the 7th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and is entering his second season in the NBA. While he missed a large chunk of his rookie season with a hip injury, the 6'5" guard averaged 6.8 points, 5.3 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per game last year.
Hayes is the second Piston to sign an endorsement deal this offseason. Cade Cunningham, the Pistons No.1 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, signed with Nike in July. Team USA representative Jerami Grant inked a deal with Adidas in July as well.
