Report: Detroit Signs Restricted Free Agent Boban Marjanovic to Offer Sheet

The Detroit Pistons will reportedly sign restricted free agent Boban Marjanovic to a three-year $21 million contract, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.

Marjanovic played last season for the San Antonio Spurs. He was a 27-year-old rookie. he averaged 5.5 points and 3.6 rebounds last season in just over nine minutes per game. He is a 7'3 center.

Marjanovic is a restricted free agent, which means the Spurs will be able to match Detroit's offer sheet within the next three days in order to keep him. With San Antonio signing Pau Gasol, they may not have enough money to do so.
