REPORT: Detroit Re-Signs Rodney McGruder
According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Detroit Pistons have re-signed veteran wing Rodney McGruder to a one-year deal.
McGruder came to the Pistons as a part of the 2020 draft night trade that sent Bruce Brown to Brooklyn and gave Detroit the rights to Saddiq Bey. The 29-year-old veteran appeared in only 16 of Detroit's 72 games last season, playing 12.1 minutes a night. Even though he did not get much action, McGruder was solid in his minutes, averaging 5.7 points on 52.9/45.8/75.0 shooting splits.
McGruder's contract is worth the veteran minimum.
