Report: Detroit Pursuing Al Horford

The Detroit Pistons will pursue Atlanta Hawks center Al Horford, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Along with Detroit, the Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic will also recruit Al Horford. 

Horford averaged 15.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game last season for Atlanta. 

He will likely demand a max level contract this free agency. Horford could play alongside Andre Drummond on the court, as Horford can spread the floor as a shooter. He shot 34% from the three point line last season. 

Will see if Detroit has a legitimate chance at winning the Horford sweepstakes, as free agency begins on July 1st.
