The Detroit Pistons have re-signed guard Rodney McGruder to a one-year, veteran minimum deal, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac:
McGruder has proven to be a respected veteran in Detroit's locker room over the past couple of seasons. He will continue to provide guard depth to a team looking deeper in the backcourt than in recent years.
In two seasons and 67 games with the Pistons, McGruder has posted an average of 5.4 points per game. With the additions of Jaden Ivey and Alec Burks, McGruder hopefully will not need to see the court much this season.
