Wojnarowski reports the deal will be completed via a sign-and-trade between the Pistons and Rockets.

Wood broke out onto the scene in his third year in the league and was about the only bright spot for Detroit this past season. The 24-year old now joins a franchise in limbo with the futures of James Harden and Russell Westbrook filled with uncertainty.
This move is not very surprising, as the Pistons have spent big in free agency, signing Jerami Grant, Mason Plumlee, Jahlil Okafor, and Josh Jackson all in the past four hours.
Wood averaged 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game last season. he shot 56.7 percent from the field and 38.6 percent from the 3-point line.
