According to James Edwards III of The Athletic, the Boston Celtics approached the Detroit Pistons with a trade offer for backup center Christian Wood, but the Pistons declined the offer.

Edwards says Detroit "wasn't interested" in the offer Boston came with.
Wood has been one of the lone bright spots for the Pistons so far this season. In his first real opportunity with an NBA team, the 24-year old has averaged 10.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game while shooting 37.6% from the 3-point line.

He appears to have cemented himself as a player in the toughest league in the world and could be due quite the pay raise in July when he hits free agency.
Wood has been so impressive, that some hope the Pistons trade Andre Drummond just so that Wood can become the team's starting center.
Zach Lowe of ESPN reported earlier in the week that numerous teams had made calls to the Pistons about Wood, but nothing has come of them yet.
