Report: Beno Udrih Signs Training Camp Deal with Pistons
The Detroit Pistons have signed veteran point guard Beno Udrih to a training camp contract, the team announced on Monday.
Udrih appeared in 39 games with Detroit last season, in which he averaged 5.8 points and 3.4 assists per contest. Last season was his 13th year in the league.
Detroit is already stocked at point guard with Reggie Jackson, Ish Smith, Langston Galloway, and Dwight Buycks, who they signed to a two-way contract earlier in the offseason. Udrih will face heavy competition for a roster spot, but his experience both with Stan Van Gundy and the NBA, in general, will help him in his quest to win over a roster spot.
