Report: Andre Drummond Wants To Stay In Detroit
According to Nick Friedell of ESPN.com, Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond wants to finish his NBA career in a Pistons uniform.
Following the Pistons 111-104 win over the Golden State Warriors Saturday, Drummond addressed reporters about the latest trade rumors.
"I was never brought up to be a quitter. If I start somewhere, I try to finish there, try to complete the mission, which is to win a championship here," Drummond said. "It will never be me that wants to go anywhere ... I love being here. I would love to play here for the rest of my career."
The Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers, Charlotte Hornets, and Toronto Raptors have all come out as potential suitors for the Drummond sweepstakes.
Drummond has a $29 million player option that he could decline this offseason that would make him an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.
