Reggie Jackson will have Platelet-Rich Plasma Treatment for Knee Tendonitis, Timetable Undetermined
Reggie Jackson is going to be out awhile. He will miss a projected 6-8 weeks as he will undergo platelet-rich plasma treatment for knee tendonitis.

The 6-8 weeks is a projection, but it is truly unknown how long Jackson will actually be out.

The timeline could be shorter or longer, but it is most likely that he is out 6-8 weeks. Detroit currently has four other point guards on the roster, Ish Smith, Ray McCallum Jr, Lorenzo Brown, and Trey Freeman. Detroit will likely cut two of Brown, McCallum, and Freeman prior to the beginning of the season.
There was also talk that Detroit may add a point guard, and staff writer Marty Tallman took a look at who Detroit could sign.
The injury is not good for the Pistons, as myself, Noah Lofman, and Chris Platte talked about on the latest PalaceOfPistons Podcast.
