Pistons Land 7th Pick in 2020 NBA Draft

The Detroit Pistons will pick 7th in the 2020 NBA Draft after the conclusion of the 2002 NBA Draft Lottery slotted Detroit in the unlucky spot.
The Pistons entered the lottery with a 10% chance for the first overall pick, which was won by the Minnesota Timberwolves. They had a 27% chance of landing the 7th overall pick, the highest possibility for the franchise headed into the lottery.
While many had hoped for the team to be able to land the likes of LaMelo Ball or Anthony Edwards, the Pistons are now going to be looking at players such as Killian Hayes, Tyrese Haliburton, and Onyeka Okongwu, among others.
The NBA Draft is currently scheduled for October 16th, although the date may be pushed back to a later time.
