Game Recap: Pistons Fall to Hawks for Seventh Loss in Eight Games

The Pistons have lost to the Atlanta Hawks 105-98 in yet another low effort affair, a disappointing trend for a Pistons team with high hopes before the start of the season.

It was a sloppy game for the Pistons, as they had 19 turnovers and shot a putrid 29% from 3-point range on 31 shots beyond the arc. Atlanta didn't shoot much better, going for 30% on threes and 44% overall. It was a game of bad offense more so than good defense as neither team could really get it going, even when the Hawks were leading by double digits.

The Pistons were without Marcus Morris, who was scratched from the rotation minutes before tipoff with a knee injury, but will be fine. Reggie Jackson seems to be returning to form ever so slowly, as he had 20 points and 8 assists, but also committing 4 turnovers in the process.

Detroit needs to find a way to get it together, as they have lost seven of their last eight and can't seem to stay out of a double digit hole early in the game. The Pistons take on the Heat on Sunday.
