Welcome to the first episode of the Palace of Pistons Rewind! The Pistons had quite the week, with a ton of new storylines. Blake Griffin is injured, and Reggie Jackson didn't play Sunday against the 76ers. Andre Drummond was playing like a max contract player, but then he kind of fell asleep against the 76ers.
Luke Kennard went crazy against the Pacers, with his career-high of 30 points. Bruce Brown might have fallen off as a defender, as he got TORCHED by Trae Young, but so will the rest of the league this year. Tony Snell, Markieff Morris, and the rest of the squad are doing their jobs. Christian Wood even had a great game after not playing against Atlanta.
The biggest story through three games of Pistons basketball has been Derrick Rose. He's averaging 25 points per game on only 26 minutes, shooting over 60% from the field. Rose is on a minutes restriction, though, at Dwane Casey's discretion and also Rose's own. Rose's scoring is desperately needed in Detroit, especially in the absence of Blake Griffin and Reggie Jackson.
