NBA Draft: Pistons Trade 30th Pick

After sending Jon Leuer to the Milwaukee Bucks for Tony Snell and the 30th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Detroit Pistons made another move, trading the 30th pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers, who ultimately took Kevin Porter Jr. with the pick. The Pistons received Cleveland's 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024 second round picks and cash considerations from Cleveland, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania and James Edwards III.

The Pistons were without their own second round pick for the next four years due to previous trades; those second rounders are now restocked.

The Cavaliers selected USC guard Kevin Porter Jr., who was mocked to go to the Pistons at both the 15th pick and 30th pick in multiple mock drafts. Porter Jr. averaged 9.5 points and four rebounds on 47.1 percent shooting from the floor and 41.2 percent from three.
