In his one season with the team, Doumbouya averaged 6.9 points and 2.8 rebounds, while also shooting an extremely efficient 55 percent from the field in 15 minutes per game. Doumbouya, at just 18 years old, is full of potential while also being an extremely explosive athlete. At 6'10", Doumbouya can play both forward positions, providing the Pistons with some much-needed versatility. Prior to the draft, Doumbouya was projected as a borderline top-10 pick and likely lottery pick, so his falling to the Pistons is a bit of a surprise. He fits a big need for the Pistons: an athletic, tall forward that is also a capable defender. He has shown flashes of a jump shot as well. Doumbouya is the first foreign-born selection by the Pistons since Jonas Jerebko in 2009. Featured Image: (Sebastien Grasset)
