NBA Draft: Detroit Pistons Trade for Draft Rights to Draft Jordan Bone
The Detroit Pistons have traded for the draft rights to Tennessee point guard Jordan Bone, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The trade was completed with the Philadelphia 76ers, who drafted Bone with the 57th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft on Thursday night.

The cost for Bone was cash consideration, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Vincent Ellis of the Detroit Free Press says a 2024 second round pick was included as well.

The pick however is top 55 protected, meaning it will stay with the Pistons as long as it does not fall past 55 in the draft order.

Bone, a 6'3" point guard is considered one of the best athletes from the draft class. He averaged 13.5 points while shooting 46.5% from the field and 35.5% from the 3-point line. He also averaged 5.8 assists and 3.2 rebounds per contest.
He was named to the All-SEC 2nd Team for the 2018-2019 season. He played three seasons with the Volunteers and is 21 years old.
