Head coach Dwane Casey has stated that Pistons third-year guard, Luke Kennard is not ready for an in-game return yet, Rod Beard of the Detroit News reports.

Kennard's last outing for the Pistons was December 21st, against the Chicago Bulls. Bilateral knee tendinitis has kept the promising guard out of action. Kennard had been averaging 15.8 PPG, along with shooting 40% from three prior to injury.
Since the Reggie Jackson buyout, Kennard is the longest-tenured Piston, being drafted in 2017 by the Stan Van Gundy led Pistons front office.
Second-year guard, Khyri Thomas, has been out since November following surgery on his right foot. Thomas is reportedly going to spend time in the G-League before making a Pistons return, Rod Beard reports.

Thomas hasn't had many opportunities since joining the Pistons roster in 2018, and seeing how the team is in the midst of a full-on rebuild, and down two guards (Jackson and Kennard) Thomas has the opportunity to take advantage of receiving some legitimate NBA minutes.
