On Tuesday night the Pistons updated the status' of both Reggie Jackson and Luke Kennard.
The problem?
Neither of their statuses changed.

While there was no official update on Kennard, the Pistons said they would update his status on January 7th, yesterday. And by not coming out with information on the third-year guard, it seems as if he may still be a ways away before being able to make a return.
Kennard, who has enjoyed a career year this season averaging career-highs across the board, has been out since December 23rd with bilateral knee tendonitis. In an official press release on December 26th, the Pistons said he would "begin a treatment regimen and be re-evaluated for a return to action on January 7."
Jackson, who hasn't played since October 24th, appears to be trending in the right direction. He has been out with a stress reaction in his lower back. The Pistons said there is still no timetable for his return to action.
The Pistons have direly missed their starting backcourt from last season and a return for either of them would boost not only the team's play on the court but their morale as well.
Detroit is currently plagued by the injury bug, as Blake Griffin, Markieff Morris, and Khyri Thomas are all inactive along with Jackson and Kennard.
We will provide further updates on the injury statuses of all these players when more information is released.
