Game Recap: Pistons End Losing Streak in Road Victory Over Magic
The Detroit Pistons have defeated the Orlando Magic 103-96 in a game that looked likely to be the Pistons' sixth-straight loss early on. Orlando came out of the gates firing, taking an early double-digit lead before the Pistons came storming back late in the quarter due to nice plays from Stanley Johnson, Langston Galloway, and Andre Drummond. It was another dominant performance for Drummond tonight, as he feasted on the glass no matter who Orlando threw at him - whether it was Nikola Vucevic, Aaron Gordon, Jarrell Martin, or rookie center Mo Bamba. The Pistons All-Star center finished just shy of his fifth 20-20 game with 23 points, 19 rebounds, and this circus shot:

Blake Griffin and Reggie Jackson contributed 35 points, six rebounds, and seven assists. Langston Galloway and Stanley Johnson led the bench unit, with Johnson finally finding his stroke by knocking down three of six triples. Orlando's effort fell short, but the Magic had five double-digit point contributors in Aaron Gordon, (15) Nikola Vucevic, (14) DJ Augustin, (16) Terrence Ross, (15) and Evan Fournier (27). Similar to Detroit, Orlando struggled to hang on to the ball, turning it over 21 times. However, they were not nearly as successful at converting off their opponent's miscues, scoring only half as many second-chance points with only one more turnover than the Pistons. It was a much-needed win for Detroit, as they now head to Atlanta to hopefully kick off another win streak on Friday. The Magic will take on the struggling Washington Wizards the same day.
