Game Recap: Pistons Disappoint in Reggie Jackson's Season Debut
The Detroit Pistons were shocked and stunned tonight, falling to the Orlando Magic 98-92 at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Detroit has fallen back .500, at 11-11. Orlando improves to 9-12 on the year.

The first half went back and forth, with Detroit springing out to early leads in the first quarter. Orlando was able to take the lead in the second quarter and never looked back. The Magic were insanely hot the entire game. They shot 53.2% from the field but shot 60% from the court in the first three-quarters.
Serge Ibaka had 21 points, seven rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and three steals in the win. Nikola Vucevic and Jeff Green scored 16 and 14 points respectively off the bench. Former Pistons DJ Augustin and Jodie Meeks combined for 19 points and eight rebounds.
Reggie Jackson's season debut was promising. He scored 18 points on 7-12 shooting and dished four assists in only 22 minutes.

There was some rust for Jackson, as he started the game 1-4 and committed three turnovers, but overall played well. Marcus Morris scored 21 points and grabbed five rebounds. Andre Drummond had 10 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, and two blocks. Ish Smith had 11 points and two assists off the bench.

The Magic were able to get what they wanted throughout the entire game. Nikola Vucevic and Jeff Green murdered the likes of Jon Leuer, Tobias Harris, and Andre Drummond in the post. DJ Augustin and Jodie Meeks hit some timely shots as well.
Detroit was outrebounded 35-34, which usually spells trouble for the Pistons when they are outrebounded. The Magic finished with 23 assists in the game compared to Detroit's 16. The Magic committed 10 turnovers to the Pistons 12.
The Pistons play their next game at The Palace against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday. That is the first half of a back to back which will have them facing the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.
