Game Preview: Struggling Pistons Have Opportunity at Hand as Nets Visit
The Detroit Pistons(22-22) host the Brooklyn Nets(17-29) tonight at Little Ceasers Arena. The game begins at 4:00p.m.
The Pistons lost to the Washington Wizards on Friday, 122-112. Andre Drummond was steady for Detroit, as usual, as he posted 14 points, 21 rebounds, and eight assists. Luke Kennard scored 16 points off the bench. Detroit was outscored 45-28 in the third quarter, as John Wall and Bradley Beal settled in for Washington. The Wizards also had a career night from Kelly Oubre, who scored 26 points.
Brooklyn topped the Miami Heat on Friday, 101-95. DeMarre Carroll scored 26 points, leading the Nets. Spencer Dinwiddie added 15 points and six rebounds. D'Angelo Russell, who played for the first time in the last 32 games, struggled, as he scored just one point in 14 minutes of play.
Injuries
Detroit will be without Reggie Jackson(ankle) and Jon Leuer(ankle).
Jeremy Lin(leg) is out for the Nets.
