Game Preview: Road Trip Continues as Pistons Play Suns
The Detroit Pistons(4-3) are in Phoenix, as the Pistons take on the Phoenix Suns(2-6) tonight at 9pm EST.
The Suns come into this game off a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers last night. They played a highly competitive game, losing 124-121. Eric Bledsoe had 31 points for the Suns. Devin Booker scored 23 points on 8-18 shooting. The defense struggled mightily for Phoenix, especially in the backcourt. Damian Lillard was the star of the game, as he posted 38 points, five rebounds, and three assists in the win. CJ McCollum was fantastic, scoring 33 points and grabbing six rebounds. The Suns committed 16 turnovers in the game.
The Pistons are also coming into this game after a loss. They fell to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night 114-82. Andre Drummond scored 15 points while grabbing 12 rebounds in the loss. Drummond has shot the ball well from the free-throw line so far this season, at least in his standards. He is shooting 50% from the charity stripe through seven games. Jon Leuer had 14 points, while Stanley Johnson finished with 11 points.
