Game Preview: Pistons With Chance to Take Over 7th Seed With Win Over Bulls
The Detroit Pistons(30-32) face the Chicago Bulls(31-31) tonight at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The game begins at 7:30 p.m. est. With a win, the Pistons would be tied for the 7th seed with the Bulls.
Chicago dropped their last game to the Los Angeles Clippers, 101-91. The Clippers were able to hold Jimmy Butler to just 16 points on 4-7 shooting. Dwyane Wade scored 10 points on 2-11 shooting. Chicago committed 19 turnovers on the night.
The Pistons handled the Philadelphia 76ers, 136-106. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 26 points. Reggie Jackson had one of his best games of the season, scoring an efficient 21 points in 25 minutes. Detroit shot 56 percent from the field and 45 percent from the free throw line. Detroit's 136 points were a season high.
Detroit and Chicago are tied in their season series 1-1. In their last meeting, the Bulls decimated the Pistons 113-82. It was Detroit;s worst outing of the season.
