Game Preview: Pistons Take on Roughed Up Nuggets
The Detroit Pistons (4-5) continue their roadtrip finish up their disappointing road trip tonight with a matchup against the Denver Nuggets (3-5).
The Nuggets lost their last game on Thursday to the Golden State Warriors, 125-101. Rookie guard Jamal Murray scored 14 for the Nuggets, while Gary Harris, Danilo Gallinari, and Juancho Hernangomez all scored 11 points. Denver committed 18 turnovers in the game.
The Nuggets are struggling mightily right now, but so are the Pistons, making this an interesting game to watch.
For Detroit, this game is a must win, as this may be the easiest opponent they will play the rest of November.
Detroit played a competitive game against the San Antonio Spurs last night, but were unable to come away with the win, falling 96-86. Andre Drummond flirted with his second 20-20 game of the season, but fell just short, finishing with 20 points and 17 rebounds. He had 19 points and 20 rebounds against the Nuggets last Saturday, when the Pistons won 103-86. Tobias Harris, Ish Smith, and Beno Udrih all had 12 points last night.
