Game Preview: Pistons Look to Win Big Game Versus Pacers
The Detroit Pistons(31-32) face the Indiana Pacers(32-31) tonight in Indiana. The game beings at 8:00 p.m. est. It will be nationally broadcasted on ESPN.
The Pacers are in the midst of a struggle right now. In their last ten games, the Pacers have walked away with just three wins.
In their last game, they were taken down by the Charlotte Hornets, 100-88. The Pacers were as expected, led by Paul George. He poured in 36 points and secured 10 rebounds in the loss. CJ Miles added 16 points. Besides George, the rest of the starting lineup scored just 34 points. Indiana's big man duo of Thaddeus Young and Myles Turner scored just four points apiece. The Hornets shot 19/21 from the free throw line, while the Pacers attempted just three free throws in the game.
Detroit has won two straight, after beating the Chicago Bulls on Monday. With that win, Detroit took control of the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons are 6-4 in their last ten games.
The Pacers currently lead the season series versus the Pistons, 3-0. Indiana decimated Detroit in their last meeting, 105-84. Paul George scored 21 points in that meeting. Indiana forced Detroit into committing 21 turnovers, while only committing six on their end. Detroit has lost four straight games on the road versus the Pacers, who are 21-10 at home this season. The Pistons are just 11-20 on the road.
