Game Preview: Pistons Host Flailing Raptors

The Detroit Pistons(33-35) host the Toronto Raptors(39-39) tonight at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The game begins at 7:30 p.m.

Toronto played just last night, falling to the Oklahoma City Thunder 123-102. DeMar DeRozan was limited to just 22 points on 8-14 shooting. Norman Powell scored 13 points off the bench. The Raptors struggled from the outside, hitting just five of their 20 three-point attempts. The Thunder, however, shot 14-25(56 percent) from deep. Toronto was outrebounded 47-32. Oklahoma City assisted on 33 shots, while Toronto had just 15 assists.

The Raptors are still trying to figure out how to play without Kyloe Lowry. They have lost five of their last eight games. Cory Joseph has started at point guard in Lowry's absence.

Detroit comes into tonight's game after being held to 83 points on Wednesday night by the Utah Jazz. Aron Baynes was Detroit's best player on Wednesday, which says a lot as to how this game went. He finished with a double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Ish Smith scored 16 points, while Tobias Harris was limited to just 12 points.

Kyle Lowry(wrist) is out once again for Toronto. This will be his 13th straight missed game.

The Piston won their previous matchup versus the Raptors, 102-101.
