Game Preview: Pistons Back Home for Game Versus Celtics
The Detroit Pistons (6-7) begin a four-game homestand tonight, as they take on the Boston Celtics (6-6). Both teams come into this game on the backend of a back-to-back.
The Celtics fell to the Golden State Warriors last night, 104-88. Isaiah Thomas led the way for the Celtics, scoring 18 points and dropping four dimes. Avery Bradley scored 17 points and grabbed 10 boards. Jaylen Brown and Terry Rozier each scored 11 points for Boston off the bench. The Warriors outrebounded the Celtics, had more assists, steals, and blocks. Boston had 13 turnovers compared to Golden State's 11.

The Pistons also come into this game off od a loss. The fell to the Cleveland Cavaliers 104-81. It was not pretty. It was so bad that Stan Van Gundy is now considering switching up the starting lineup. Jon Leuer continues to be a bright spot for Detroit. He scored 15 points for the Pistons yesterday, while also grabbing seven boards. No other Piston scored in double figures. The Pistons shot 31% from the field as well as the three-point line. Detroit was once again outrebounded, losing the boards battle 52-44.

Injuries
Both teams come into today with injuries. The Pistons will be without Reggie Jackson. Jae Crowder(ankle) is close to returning, but there is no word yet on if he will play tonight. The same goes for Al Horford, who has yet to make his debut as a Celtic. Horford suffered a concussion prior to the beginning of the season. There is a chance he plays tonight. Marcus Smart suffered an injury yesterday with a left ankle bruise. He traveled with the team to Detroit for tonight's game.
